Film Synopsis

Returning veteran, James, has difficulty adapting to civilian life. With the world now very different in James' eyes, he tries to hide his PTSD from those around him, including his wife Sarah. 'Unseen Scars' highlights the issues faced by returning military veterans who have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The film portrays what happens when they choose to seek help rather than choose to deal with the issues on their own. It is a courageous narrative, bringing to light the struggles of mental health and how ex-military veterans adapt to the world around them.
